A New idea becomes reality

We were recently inspired to create a NEW store account called an Angel Account to help families who need a little extra help. 

​

All new ideas start small and evolve over time, and that is our hope with this venture. We want to see this idea become a valuable resource for our little community here in Northern Montana.

Our current vision for this account is to allow donations, both monetary or in the form of items to sell and the money be used by a struggling family to provide their family with clothes, shoes and yes, maybe even a toy or book.

How it works:

• cash donations will be added to the account immediately.

• Donated Items: The proceeds from donated items will be added to the account when the item sells. Because of the nature of this account, donated items will automatically be included in all Chaos Day Sales, but will be priced fairly. Items MUST fall within one of our accepted categories and must be in relatively good condition - not R&T (Rough & Tumble). 

• To help prevent misuse, we would like families to be nominated. Nominating a family will be painless; simply contact MAJoR Chaos and ask for a family to be nominated, no personal questions will be asked, we will act on good faith.  The family will be given or sent a gift certificate to be used during one of our in-person sales. (We hope to be able to create a way to use the gift certifate online, but that will come later). The family will simply present this certificate at the time of check out and BAM! done. 

• Making a donation: Simply contact us. We would be happy to arrange a local pickup for items or monetary (cash/check) donations. We can accept items, cash, check or even card during our in-person sales. Every little bit helps so we encourage those who wish to give to give what they can without the expectatio of pre-conceived amounts. 

• We are NOT a non-profit and we cannot grant tax deductions. This is something we will need to research and intend to do so if this idea grows to that extent.   ​

• Certificate amounts will rely solely on the funds available, and naturally as we are just implementing this idea, the funds are extremely limited. We are optimistic that this idea has limitless possibilities and are excited to see how it grows and evolves.

**MAJoR Chaos will not receive any 'kickback' or monetary benefit from this account. We do not receive a percentage of the sales or of any monetary donation. This is purely a community service that we are sincerely hoping will help struggling families.**
