We have a few favorite salads that we like to have as a cold supper. One of them is something I came up with a few years ago, that we call Chinese Chicken Salad. I must admit that the salad dressing is what makes this amazing. We have tried several and had decided we prefer Girard's Toasted Sesame Ginger Dressing better than any others we have tried.
Years ago, I found two of these vintage melamine serving bowls that work wonderfully for a salad supper. But any over-sized bowl will work.

Fill the bottom of a large bowl with romaine lettuce. Add sliced celery, cucum-ber, and tomato. Sprinkle on sunflower seeds. Chop up some leftover baked chicken from the deli and add dressing to taste. Enjoy!
Oh! And wash and save the lovely dressing bottles. They are great for freezing your homemade fruit syrup!
